How do I cancel my subscription?
Once logged in, visit our subscription page here. Click "Cancel your subscription" and confirm on the next screen. Your subscription will cancel when it reaches its expiration date, so you’ll be able to use TeuxDeux until then.
How do I delete my account?
Log in to TeuxDeux in your browser, click on your username in the upper-right corner > Account > “Delete my account” (at the bottom). You won’t be charged after deletion.
Do I need to cancel before my free trial ends?
Trial accounts cancel automatically once the 30 days are up, so you don’t need to worry about canceling manually. You won't be charged.
However, if you subscribed to a plan during your trial period, you will have to cancel that subscription if you do not wish to continue using TeuxDeux. You can do so by visiting our subscription page here.
Click "Cancel your subscription" and confirm on the next screen.
Do you have an Android app?
Yup! You can get it here.
How much does TeuxDeux cost?
We have a ‘Believer’ plan, which is $3 a month, paid yearly as well as a ‘Skeptic’ plan, which is $4 a month, paid monthly.
Is there a free version of TeuxDeux?
Is there another way to pay besides with a credit card?
We can only accept credit cards when you subscribe here. We're working on adding more payment options and we're always open to your suggestions!
I forgot to cancel my subscription and it just renewed. What's your refund policy?
If you're no longer using TeuxDeux but you forgot to cancel your subscription, we'll gladly refund the cost to you if you reach out to help@teuxdeux.com within a week of renewing (if you're monthly) or four weeks (if you're yearly).
Can I receive my daily to-dos via email?
Yep! Go into Settings in the web app. Under the Daily Digest tab, select a time and click ‘Save’ (the default time is set to 12:00 pm). You can switch on/off your Daily Digest on your iPhone app as well.
How can I cancel my daily emails?
In the web app, go to Settings > Daily Digest, set the time as “never”, then save. In the iPhone app, go into Settings and deselect “email to-dos daily”, tapping the checkmark to save.
Do I need an Internet connection to use TeuxDeux?
You do! TeuxDeux is a cloud-based app, meaning your to-dos stay backed up and available wherever you are. If you’re using your phone, your to-dos will sync as long as you have data turned on.
Can I print out my TeuxDeux lists?
If you go to File > Print, you can print out your week of to-do’s (we’ll take care of the formatting).
How do I set recurring to-dos?
Create a to-do followed by ‘every’ and one of the available occurrences and it will repeat automatically.

How much does the mobile app cost?
The iPhone and Google Play apps are free to use! To use TeuxDeux on web, however, you’ll need a TeuxDeux subscription, which is $4/month for a monthly subscription or $3/month for a yearly subscription (paid annually).
How do I create/edit/delete/cross off a to-do?
To create: tap on the plus button in the lower right, tap the blank space at the bottom of your list, or pull down on your list when you’re at the top.
To edit: Swipe left on the to-do
To delete: First, mark the to-do complete. Then, swipe towards the left to select delete.
To mark as done: tap once to cross of, tap again to un-do
How do I switch colors? Turn on the flying cat?
Head to Settings (the hamburger manu in the upper right corner) and you’ll see the ability to change your color. Immediately above that, you’ll see a switch to “Enable flying cat”.
Why aren’t my new settings saving?
Don’t forget to tap the check mark in the upper right corner to save changes!
How do I create recurring to-dos?
As you add a to-do, add "every" + frequency to the to-do to create a recurring to-do. For example:
- Meditate every day
- Put on pants every weekday
- Workout every other day
- Water plants every week
- Get paid every other week
- Pay the rent every month
- It's my birthday! every year
How do I move a to-do to tomorrow, a different day or to a Someday list?
To move a to-do to the next day, swipe right.
To move a to-do to an entirely different day, swipe left to edit and click the "Move" button in the lower left corner. From there, select "Another day" and choose a day on the calendar.
To move a task to a Someday list, swipe left to edit and click the "Move" button in the lower left corner. From there, select "Someday list" and choose from your lists.
You can also press and hold on any task and drag it to the bottom bar to place it on any of the calendar days in view.
Will the app sync with my desktop app?
Yes! Syncing between the web app and mobile app works without any extra work on your end. Just make sure you're subscribed to TeuxDeux in order to access your to-dos in both places: click on this link to subscribe.
Can I save my to-dos after my free trial ends?
Yep! Your account will revert to read-only so you can’t make edits your to-dos will be safe and you can download your data at any time (in Settings).
Can I create a custom background for my TeuxDeux interface?
Nope! You can set it as pretty much any color you could imagine, though.
Can I set up alerts for my to-dos?
No alerts here - we believe in working at your pace and giving space for deep work, so we’re decidedly anti-interruption.
Why isn’t my “Today” column in the far left?
We find that it’s often helpful for people to have a holistic view of where they’ve been and where they’re headed. Yesterday’s events are important context for today, which is why you can see it in the far left column.
